Our high-quality curriculum is built on the premise that all students are capable of success. It balances challenging coursework with clinical activities and research that promote attainment of the ABGC Practice Based Competencies. Students engage in the bulk of their courses in the first year of the program and focus on clinical training and their capstone research project in the second year.  All courses have been specifically developed for Genetic Counseling Program and course descriptions may be found in the UCSF Course Catalog.
